Bath Christmas Market
For 18 days, the quaint streets and square between the stunning Bath Abbey and the internationally renowned Roman Baths, are transformed into a Christmas shopper’s haven – the Bath Christmas Market. In the heart of Bath’s main shopping district, more than 130 traditional wooden chalets adorn the streets; each one offering unique, handmade and unusual gifts, decorations and food items – everything you will need for the perfect Christmas celebration. With the market as the highlight, the UNESCO World Heritage city of Bath is fast becoming known as ‘the Christmas City’.
Birmingham Christmas Market
The largest authentic German market outside Germany and Austria and the centrepiece of the city’s festive event calendar returns to Birmingham for its 11th year.Adjacent to the Frankfurt Christmas Market, the Christmas Craft Fair extends into Chamberlain Square where Birmingham’s own traders offer their own selection of beautifully hand-crafted items, created by local artisans.
Together these events bring a fabulous atmosphere to the city and an even better aroma!
The market brings an undeniably infectious atmosphere to the city year on year. Now in its twelfth year the Frankfurt Christmas Market continues to celebrate Birmingham’s link with Frankfurt as one of its ‘twinned’ cities.Along with Birmingham’s Christmas Craft Fair the Christmas Markets offer over 180 stalls generating an incredible vibe and a unique shopping experience, creating the feel of a small, bustling village within the heart of the city centre.
Worcester Christmas Market
Worcester Christmas Fayre is the leading themed street market in the West Midlands. Hundreds of stalls fill the atmospheric streets of Worcester’s historic heart with the colours, sounds and smells of Christmas. Explore the wonderful range of merchandise on offer in the city on the market stalls and in the city’s exceptional range of shops, both unique independently owned boutiques and all the High Street names you would expect to find in a thriving cathedral city.
Enjoy the fun of the fair as you step aboard the Victorian carousel and are whirled around to the strains of barrel organ music.
Take the weight off your feet in one of the city’s many cafes, pubs or restaurants and enjoy traditional Christmas cheer with a cup of mulled wine or enjoy the flavours of some the local produce on offer on my of the menus and stalls.
Bicester Christmas Market
Discover a relaxed shopping haven, where spacious boutiques showcase the world’s leading fashion and lifestyle brands, normally only found in the most exclusive shopping streets, and all offering fabulous savings. The afternoon is then spent in Oxford, with its famous Christmas Market in Broad Street.
This truly is a trip for the avid shopper, and a fantastic excuse to pick up some last minute Christmas presents!.
Bristol Christmas Market
Welcome to the 6th German Christmas Market in Broadmead part of Bristol Shopping Quarter from 7 November - 22 December 2014 Open from Monday - Saturday 10am – 7pm , Sundays 10am to 6pm.
The 38 traditional chalets decorated with festive greenery and colourful lights, the Christmas nativity Pyramid, giant advent calendar and beer gardens combine to create a festive atmosphere in the heart of the city centre shopping area.
This year's Entertainer is Der Alpen Klaus. Klaus does a lot of Entertaining at the Munich Beer festival and similar events all over the country. But he not only delivers Bavarian style music he also does his own versions of popular music. For the Xmas market he will deliver a lot of Xmas style music on top of ´his repertoire with consist of over 500 titles.
Visitors are invited to wander around and will find traditional German Christmas decorations, lights, nativity scenes and gifts, including wooden toys, baskets, soaps, lamps and amber jewellery. Delicious festive food and drink is on offer including the now famous gluhvein, bratwurst, waffles, liquorice, stollen cake, gingerbread hearts and candied fruit.
Cheltenham Christmas Market
Now in it’s Twelfth year, 2014 offers an excellent opportunity for those with an eye for quality to experience one of the best Christmas Markets in the UK.
Cheltenham is a popular tourist destination, with a number of successful and highly visited events throughout the year and the Christmas Market is no exception to the rule. This year, for 16 days, the Christmas Chalets will be situated in the beautiful setting of the Promenade once more providing a huge range of festive crafts and gifts.
